摘要

This article deals with an inquiry on philosophical beddings of thePhysics Education. From a research on French didactic books of the nineteenth century and the context of its publication it is lookedto trace a vision of the ideas that had guided its authors and theconstruction of a model of scientific education that we will calldogmatic-instrumental view. These ideas had influenced theBrazilian scientific education.
